Local processing
The app does not send form inputs, CSV files, JSON plans, or results to an application server. Calculations run on your device. Static hosting providers can still log normal page requests, IP addresses, and technical request metadata under their own policies. Source links lead to external websites.
Optional saving
Clicking Save on this browser explicitly stores the plan in localStorage. It is not encrypted, is not backed up, and is visible to other people using the same browser profile. Delete individual plans or all plans in Saved plans. Clearing browser storage also removes these records. Downloaded exports are separate files you manage yourself.
Sharing and sensitive information
URL sharing is disabled for this tool because input fields can be sensitive. JSON exports contain the entire plan. Do not publish them without reviewing and redacting their contents.
Ads and analytics
Advertising is disabled in this build. Analytics are disabled in this build. No advertising cookies, third-party fonts, remote analytics scripts, or behavioral tracking scripts are loaded by this app.
Recall lookup
Clicking "Check CPSC recalls" sends your entered appliance type and brand to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission at saferproducts.gov to search public recall records. This request is only made when you click the button and is never sent automatically.

Contact the operator at [email protected]. Do not send sensitive source files without an agreed secure process.
